A Nepalese national, aged 25, has been arrested on charges of allegedly murdering his wife in the Kotkhai area of Himachal Pradesh, police officials announced.
The couple, identified as Ramesh and Dhanmaya, worked in an apple orchard owned by Rajinder Singh. They had a three-year-old son and lived near the orchard.
The police uncovered the deceased's body in a shed wrapped in quilts nearby. The accused, who fled the scene, was apprehended in Narkanda within hours. Authorities charged him with murder and evidence concealment under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita provisions.
