In a significant show of defensive strength, Ukraine's air defenses successfully intercepted 26 of the 48 drones launched by Russia overnight, according to a statement from the Ukrainian military on Tuesday.

The Ukrainian air force reported that 20 of the drones could not be tracked, leaving a number unaccounted for, while one more drone reportedly made its way back to Russian territory.

This incident marks another development in the ongoing tension between the two nations, highlighting the critical role of aerial defense systems in modern geopolitical conflicts.
