The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has scrapped a significant examination meant for filling 111 senior positions in the Local Self Government Department after a breach of confidentiality was detected.

The competitive test, conducted on May 14, 2022, was marred by incidents of cheating, with ultra-modern electronic devices being used at centres in Bikaner, leading to three FIRs being lodged on the exam day.

In light of these findings, RPSC has resolved to void the current exam results and will undertake a fresh examination for the candidates involved.
