Intensive Search Launched After Gulmarg Terror Attack
Following a deadly terror attack near the Line of Control (LoC) in Gulmarg, security forces have intensified search operations using drones and helicopters. In the wake of a deadly terror attack in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have initiated a comprehensive search operation along the Line of Control (LoC). The attack, which occurred Thursday, resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and two Army porters.
Officials reported that drones and helicopters have been deployed to assist the search by providing aerial surveillance, while human and technical intelligence inputs are also being utilized. Senior police and Army officers are coordinating efforts to trace and neutralize the perpetrators responsible for the assault.
The search area has been expanded, and authorities have sealed off routes around the attack site. Although the Gondola ropeway service in Gulmarg was temporarily halted as a precaution, it has since resumed. The tourist movement to the ski resort remains unaffected, authorities said.
