In light of recent terror attacks in Kashmir, the Border Security Force (BSF) and police launched a joint search operation on Friday in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district. According to officials, this exercise aims to monitor suspicious activities and bolster security in the region.
The operation focuses on the Ramgarh sector, with security agencies carefully inspecting several sensitive zones, including forest regions adjacent to the International Border. These proactive measures are part of a broader initiative to fortify border area security.
In tandem, the district magistrate of Samba has instituted a prohibition on the sale or use of firecrackers within a two-kilometer radius of the border. This measure, effective immediately, is set to remain in place for two months, unless altered or revoked earlier.
