Cyclone Dana Forces Orissa High Court Closure

The Orissa High Court announced it will shut its doors on Thursday and Friday due to the impending Cyclonic Storm Dana, as per official notifications.
The India Meteorological Department predicts landfall of storm Dana, with winds reaching 120 kmph, between Bhitarkanika National Park and Dhamra Port by Friday morning.
In anticipation of this serious weather event, court activities and offices will remain closed on October 24 and 25, the registrar (judicial) confirmed. Consequently, the court declared November 30 and December 7, both Saturdays, as rescheduled working days.
