In a bid to enhance public safety in Ludhiana, Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab, Gaurav Yadav, engaged with the city's industrialists to seek suggestions and feedback. His visit included the inauguration of 14 new vehicles for the Ludhiana Police Control Room, funded via Corporate Social Responsibility.

Highlighting Ludhiana as an industrial hub, DGP Yadav emphasized the state's dedication to making it the safest city. He promised rapid improvements and assured industrialists that the police commissionerate would benefit from 10,000 new police vacancies announced by the Punjab Government.

Accompanied by top police officials, the DGP discussed solutions to challenges such as cyber fraud and traffic issues with industrialists. He urged them to report cyber crimes immediately and pledged to increase CCTV surveillance, particularly in industrial areas, while recognizing the efforts of industry leaders SC Ralhan and Neeraj Satija.
