Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, has called for a comprehensive security audit across infrastructure projects in the region, as the authorities respond to recent violent incidents. This directive comes after a terror attack on construction workers in Ganderbal district.

The security review meeting, held at Raj Bhawan, involved top officials including Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, focusing on strengthening security around construction sites. Sinha urged for robust security and intelligence frameworks and regular coordination with project agencies.

Emphasizing joint military-police operations, Sinha directed the dismantling of the terror ecosystem, demanding continuous monitoring through round-the-clock checkpoints and night patrols. These measures aim to counter the threats posed by groups like the TRF.
