YSRCP leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has accused the current TDP-led NDA government of exacerbating crimes against women in Andhra Pradesh since taking office. He claims the situation has worsened since the regime change.
Reddy highlighted the implementation of the Disha app under his previous administration, which he asserts has been instrumental in safeguarding women. According to him, this app has allowed over 1.5 crore women to seek police assistance promptly.
He accused the current Home Minister, Vangalapudi Anitha, of allowing the app to become ineffective. Additionally, Reddy accused current Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh of personally encouraging such offenses.
