Daring Encounter Near Bhitauli Crossing: Police Nab Notorious Criminal

A notorious criminal, Kamlesh Tiwari, was finally apprehended during a dramatic police encounter near Bhitauli Crossing on Tuesday night. The incident unfolded when a police team spotted two suspicious individuals on a two-wheeler in the Jankipuram area.

Upon attempting to intercept them, the suspects opened fire, prompting the police to retaliate. During the exchange, Tiwari, facing charges in over 24 cases, was injured in his left leg.

While Tiwari was captured, his accomplice managed to escape. The police recovered a country-made pistol, ammunition, and the vehicle from the scene, with efforts ongoing to apprehend the fugitive.
