The awards, organized by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, were bestowed upon the recipients by President Droupadi Murmu during a ceremony held in New Delhi.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that this honor reflects Uttar Pradesh's focus on water conservation and public participation, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, with President Murmu also commending the state's efforts in expanding tap water access and conservation initiatives.
