A lawyer practicing at Saket court suffered a brutal attack on Monday in the Mehrauli area of south Delhi, allegedly over a property dispute, according to police reports. Authorities have made five arrests in connection with the assault.

The victim, 58-year-old Rambabu Sisodia, sustained multiple injuries after being beaten with sticks and rods. The altercation occurred in Lado Sarai village and subsequently led to his hospitalization.

Sisodia rented his property to Rajeev Gupta, who reportedly refused to vacate. A confrontation led to the assault, caught on video and disseminated on social media. The police have registered a case at Mehrauli police station under charges that include attempted murder as the investigation continues.
