A London police officer was acquitted of murder charges on Monday after a jury found him not guilty in the fatal shooting of Chris Kaba, an unarmed Black man.

Martyn Blake, the 40-year-old Metropolitan Police marksman, was cleared by a London court after he shot Kaba following a high-speed chase in a vehicle tied to a prior shooting.
