On Monday, multiple protests took place in Kashmir condemning the killing of seven individuals in a terrorist attack in Ganderbal district, according to officials.
A candlelight vigil was observed in Pulwama to pay tribute to the victims, including one local doctor and six non-local laborers who were killed on Sunday night at Gagangir in Ganderbal district, said officials.
The largest protest was in Pulwama, where young demonstrators displayed placards demanding an end to the killing of innocents and seeking justice for the victims. A significant banner reading 'Pulwama Stands Against Terrorism' was carried, and a similar protest occurred at Ghanta Ghar in Kulgam town.
