Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has firmly stated that he will prevent 'vested interests' from obstructing peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir. His strong assertion comes in the aftermath of a terror attack at a tunnel site in Ganderbal, which tragically claimed seven lives, including a doctor and six migrant workers.
Addressing reporters, Abdullah emphasized his commitment to ensuring that the fruits of development reach the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who have shown enthusiasm and hope by participating in recent elections. He vowed not to let any obstacles hinder this progress.
Abdullah also pointed to the need for heightened security measures to avert future attacks, urging large development projects to prioritize security. He criticized recent terrorist actions, calling them 'very unfortunate,' and affirmed his resolve to maintain progress despite threats.
