Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin addressed concerns about the Lok Sabha delimitation process on Monday, suggesting that it might encourage couples to expand their families excessively. Referencing a Tamil saying about prosperity, he insisted that people should not misunderstand it to mean having 16 children.

During a wedding ceremony for 31 couples, CM Stalin emphasized the cultural importance of giving Tamil names to children, despite changes in the electoral aspect. He also highlighted the robust initiatives undertaken by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department, such as renovating over 10,000 temples and retrieving encroached temple lands.

Stalin criticized political exploitation through religion while promoting egalitarian governance. His address underscored the Dravidian model's commitment to equal treatment of all religions, as demonstrated by reforms allowing priests of all castes to serve in temples.
