The Enforcement Directorate has uncovered a major land grab scandal in Andhra Pradesh, seizing more than 300 property sale deeds allegedly linked to former YSRCP MP M V V Satyanarayana and others. The seizure follows extensive raids amid an investigation into fraudulent acquisitions of government-allotted lands.

The investigation involves a 12.51-acre plot, valued at over Rs 200 crore, initially allotted for housing projects for the elderly and orphans. It is alleged that the accused misused their positions to forge documents, coerce parties, and re-sell the land for significant illegal profits.

Documents including benami land passbooks, digital devices, and records of large cash transactions were also seized, pointing to a criminal conspiracy to acquire land unlawfully, as confirmed by a police FIR in Visakhapatnam. A MoU breach is also alleged, involving fabricated signatures and threats to the land's rightful owner.
