The Karnataka High Court has turned down the bail applications of Prajwal Revanna, the former MP and JD(S) member, who is embroiled in serious allegations of rape and sexual assault.

Presiding over the decision, Justice M Nagaprasanna denied both regular and anticipatory bail requests from Revanna, who once represented Hassan.

In a detailed 2,144-page chargesheet presented in August, the Special Investigation Team accused Revanna of grave offenses, reportedly involving the exploitation of his family's domestic help.
