Karnataka High Court Denies Bail to Former MP Prajwal Revanna
The Karnataka High Court rejected the bail plea of former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, accused in rape and sexual assault cases. Justice M Nagaprasanna also denied his anticipatory bail requests. In August 2024, the SIT submitted a chargesheet related to these allegations against him and his family's domestic help.

The Karnataka High Court has turned down the bail applications of Prajwal Revanna, the former MP and JD(S) member, who is embroiled in serious allegations of rape and sexual assault.
Presiding over the decision, Justice M Nagaprasanna denied both regular and anticipatory bail requests from Revanna, who once represented Hassan.
In a detailed 2,144-page chargesheet presented in August, the Special Investigation Team accused Revanna of grave offenses, reportedly involving the exploitation of his family's domestic help.
