Mumbai's judicial system responded Monday by extending the police custody of four individuals involved in the high-profile Baba Siddique murder case until October 25.
The former MLA and NCP leader suffered a fatal shooting at Nirmal Nagar in Bandra on October 12, succumbing to his injuries shortly thereafter at Lilavati hospital.
Accused individuals include Haryana resident Gurmail Baljit Singh, Uttar Pradesh's Dharmaraj Kashyap, Pune's Pravin Lonkar, and Harish Kumar Nisad. The accused were presented to the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate V R Patil, where police reported inadequacies in cooperation with investigators. Further remand was sought to gain truthful insights into the crime's orchestration.
