According to reports, at least two armed assailants stormed into the dining area of the private construction company's premises, indiscriminately firing upon unsuspecting workers. The Resistance Front, thought to be associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, took responsibility for this brutal attack through social media channels.

India's Interior Minister, Amit Shah, condemned the incident, asserting that those responsible will face severe responses from security forces. This escalation in violence follows a pattern of targeting non-Kashmiri workers in the troubled region.
