Tragedy Unfolds: Family Displeasure Leads to Horrific Crime

A heart-wrenching case emerged from Lalitpur district in Uttar Pradesh as a six-year-old boy was reportedly strangled to death by his own grandfather. The police disclosed that the alleged act was motivated by the grandfather's displeasure with his son's second marriage.
Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mushtaq revealed that a report was received on Sunday evening concerning a child's suspicious death in the Pura Kalan area's Gidvar village. Upon investigation, authorities discovered the child had been strangled with a rope.
The investigation revealed that 56-year-old Pritam was driven by discontent over his son's marital decision, leading to this tragic event. The grandfather has been apprehended, and further legal proceedings are in progress after the recovery of the rope and the child's post-mortem.
