Farooq Abdullah Urges Pakistan to Halt Terrorism for Peaceful Relations

In a strong rebuke, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah accused Pakistan of fostering terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. Abdullah emphasized that without an end to such hostilities, Pakistan cannot hope for amicable ties with India.
The former chief minister underscored the tragic impact of terror attacks, referencing a recent incident in Ganderbal that claimed seven lives, including those of innocent laborers. "How can there be talks? You kill our innocent people and then you call for talks. First stop the killings," Abdullah stated.
Abdullah urged Pakistan to allow Kashmir to develop peacefully and focus on its internal development challenges. He stressed that Kashmir will not become part of Pakistan, calling on Islamabad to cease its attempts and prioritize peace and progress.
