Police seized a significant quantity of contraband from a factory in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, with an estimated value of Rs 14 lakh. One person has been arrested in connection with the case, said authorities on Monday.

The raid, undertaken by the Special Operations Group and Surat police, resulted in the confiscation of 141 gm of methamphetamine (MD) drugs. The illicit materials, found at 'Avasar Enterprise', have been sent to a Forensic Science Laboratory for confirmation, according to SOG police inspector Anand Chaudhary.

This recent development follows a major October 13 crackdown, where over 500 kg of cocaine was seized from another factory in Ankleshwar. The ongoing investigation suggests these contrabands are linked to Pharma Solution Services, with origins traced to Avkar Drugs Limited, confirmed police sources.
