Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah strongly condemned an attack on non-local labourers in the Ganderbal district on Sunday.

The assault, which took place at Gagangir in the Sonamarg region, claimed the lives of two laborers and injured two others involved in a local infrastructure project. Abdullah termed the attack cowardly and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims via a social media post.

Other political figures, including People's Conference leader Sajad Gani Lone and JKPCC president Tariq Hameed Karra, also denounced the attack, calling for justice and urging the government to take action to prevent such violence.
