A construction worker was fatally beaten in Latur after refusing to give Rs 500 to a man and his two sons for alcohol, police reported on Sunday.

The victim, Vazaar Ayub Shaikh, was attacked by Sajid, Aslam, and Avez Gadeswar near Azad Chowk on Friday, according to police sources.

The suspects were apprehended Saturday, and further investigations into the tragic incident are currently underway, authorities confirmed.
