Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has highlighted the strides made in reducing the Indian Army's reliance on foreign weapons. He credits this shift to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's focus on indigenous fighter aircraft and equipment manufacturing.

The statements were made during a ceremony at the 3 EME Centre, aimed at honoring ex-servicemen, in which Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh Tripathi also participated. Yadav noted that the Army's morale is on the rise with access to the latest technology in weaponry.

During the event, Admiral Tripathi praised Madhya Pradesh's historical contribution to India's military, highlighting the numerous awards conferred upon soldiers from the state. The rally focused on veteran welfare, grievance resolution, and providing medical facilities, with around 1200 attendees.
