Anil Yadav, known as Chhota Narsinghanand and an aide to the controversial Dasna Devi temple priest Yati Narsinghanand, has been arrested by local police following a roadside altercation. This development adds to the tensions following objectionable remarks made by the priest earlier this month.
Yadav's arrest transpired at Rajnagar District Centre, within the Kavi Nagar area, where a clash occurred Thursday night. Kavi Nagar Police Assistant Commissioner Abhishek Srivastav confirmed the arrest, highlighting its connection to the ongoing disturbances linked to the temple.
Authorities have arrested 23 suspects already, including Shahid, Hashim, and Javed, for preventing police operations during the unrest. The incident earlier this month involved an aggressive mob and stone-pelting, compounding the escalating tension surrounding Yati Narsinghanand's statements.
