India has firmly rejected a recent report by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), labeling the organization as 'biased' and driven by a 'political agenda.'

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) sharply criticized the USCIRF report, which is critical of India for purported violations of religious freedom.

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized the need for the USCIRF to use its time more productively by focusing on human rights issues within the United States, rather than issuing reports that misrepresent facts about India.
