Teen Arrested in Delhi Knife Threat Incident

The Delhi Police have arrested two individuals, one of whom is a 17-year-old, for allegedly wielding a knife at a woman shopkeeper in the Sultanpuri market in outer Delhi. This development comes after a video of the incident surfaced online, sparking an investigation by the authorities.

The video reportedly shows a boy threatening the shopkeeper with a knife in the DDA Market's F-Block on September 22 at around 6 pm. The footage has caused outrage within the local business community, prompting immediate police action.

Mamta Devi, the shopkeeper involved and aged 28, reported the incident to the police on October 1. Her statement led to the registration of an FIR and the subsequent arrests of Rakesh, aged 19, and a 17-year-old boy. Efforts are ongoing to locate a third suspect implicated in the video.
