Tutor Arrested for Allegedly Raping 4-Year-Old Girl During Home Tuition

Kheri police have arrested Sunil Mishra, a private tutor, on charges of raping a 4-year-old girl during a home tuition session. The parents reported the incident to the police after the girl narrated the ordeal. An FIR was filed, and further investigation is underway.

Kheri police apprehended Sunil Mishra, a private tutor, for allegedly raping a 4-year-old girl at her residence during a tutoring session, officials disclosed on Wednesday.

The traumatic incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday. According to law enforcement, the girl revealed the harrowing details to her parents, prompting them to bring it to the police's attention. Consequently, Mishra was detained on Tuesday night.

Deputy police superintendent (DSP) Gola GP Gautam confirmed that an FIR has been lodged under section 65(2) (Punishment for rape on woman under twelve years of age) of Bhartiya Nyaya Samhita (BNS) along with provisions from the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The investigation remains ongoing.
