Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares has urged Israel to halt its ground raids in southern Lebanon to avoid escalating the regional conflict, he told reporters on Tuesday.
Since February 2022, Spain has been in command of the United Nations' Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), and has deployed 650 troops along the southern Lebanese border with Israel.
