Kremlin Voices Concerns Over Israeli Military Actions in Lebanon and Syria

The Kremlin voiced its deep concerns on Tuesday regarding Israel's military actions in Lebanon and an alleged airstrike on Damascus, the Syrian capital.
Israel confirmed intense fighting with the Hezbollah movement in southern Lebanon, which followed airstrikes on Hezbollah's leadership. Syrian state media reported three civilian fatalities and nine injuries from an Israeli airstrike on Damascus.
'We're observing an expanded geography of hostilities, destabilizing the region and increasing tensions,' Kremlin spokesman Peskov stated. He emphasized Moscow's continued contact with Damascus while condemning the strikes on sovereign states.
