A 22-year-old man lost his life while his friend sustained injuries after being stabbed by three individuals during a suspected road rage incident in Shahdara's GTB Enclave, police reported on Monday.

The tragic event transpired on Sunday night when Anurag, a Harsh Vihar resident, was en route to his home with his friend Rinku on a motorcycle. As they reached Dilshad Garden, their bike accidentally grazed another motorcycle carrying three men. A heated argument ensued, escalating rapidly into physical violence, resulting in Anurag and Rinku being stabbed multiple times, according to a police official.

The attackers fled when a police patrol van approached. Anurag was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital, while Rinku is currently recovering. Authorities have formed multiple teams to apprehend the assailants.
