Lt Governor V K Saxena has expressed his displeasure over the Delhi government's delay in constituting the 'Board of Visitors' for city jails despite High Court orders, as reported by Raj Niwas officials on Monday.

The LG's office also returned the related file to the Delhi government, instructing the AAP administration to correct the ''shortcomings'' in a notification on the appointment.

In response, the AAP alleged that the LG focuses on criticizing Delhi ministers while neglecting to take action against officers who mishandled files.
