Netanyahu Holds Off Ceasefire, Commands Continued Military Action

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not responded to U.S. and French proposals for a ceasefire in Lebanon. He has instructed the military to continue full-scale operations in Lebanon and Gaza until Israel's war aims are met.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Thursday that he had not yet responded to a ceasefire proposal from the U.S. and France for Lebanon.

Netanyahu emphasized that he had directed the military to maintain full-scale operations in Lebanon.

He reiterated that the military operations in Gaza would persist until Israel's objectives are fully accomplished.
