Delhi Police Busts Major Cannabis Supply Racket, Two Bihar Residents Arrested
Delhi Police arrested two men from Bihar for allegedly supplying cannabis through courier services in NCR, recovering 116 kg of contraband. The accused procured the cannabis from Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. They were influenced by Avinash Kumar to enter the drug trade while working in ply factories.

Delhi Police have apprehended two Bihar natives for allegedly distributing cannabis in various sectors of the National Capital Territory (NCR) via courier services. During the operation, officials successfully confiscated 116 kg of illegal substances, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
The detainees, Nitesh and Rohit, reportedly obtained the cannabis from regions bordering Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. They were captured in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, and the substantial amount of cannabis was found in their possession, stated Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch), Satish Kumar.
The accused revealed that they had been employed in ply factories in Yamuna Nagar for the past three years. It was during this period that they met Avinash Kumar from Bihar, who persuaded them to shift to the cannabis supply trade for better financial gains. They disclosed that many others are involved in the drug cartel, each assigned specific roles, added DCP Kumar.
