Akshay Shinde, accused of sexually assaulting two minor girls in Badlapur, was killed in police firing after he allegedly snatched an officer's gun and opened fire. The incident occurred while he was being transported from Taloja Jail. Injured in the exchange, Assistant Police Inspector Nilesh More is currently receiving medical treatment.
