Israeli Military Warns Lebanese Residents Amid Latest Airstrikes
Residents in southern Lebanon were warned to distance themselves from Hezbollah sites amid renewed Israeli airstrikes targeting Iran-backed Hezbollah. The Israeli military, through various platforms, urged civilians to stay away from Hezbollah locations, alleging the militia's use of civilian structures for military purposes, increasing cross-border conflict tensions.

Residents of southern Lebanon have been urged to distance themselves from Hezbollah sites, following a series of calls from a Lebanese number. The calls echoed warnings issued by the Israeli military, conveyed in Arabic across multiple platforms, according to a Reuters reporter.
The warnings came as the Israeli military executed its broadest wave of airstrikes against the Iran-backed Hezbollah in a year, targeting Lebanon's south, eastern Bekaa valley, and the northern region near Syria. Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, the Israeli military spokesman, emphasized the danger posed to residents by Hezbollah's weapons stashes in civilian areas.
Amid heightened cross-border conflict alongside the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza, Hagari insisted on the Israeli military's commitment to ensuring the safe return of evacuated northern Israeli residents. He presented aerial footage during a media briefing, showing Hezbollah operatives launching missiles from a civilian house just before an Israeli strike.
