AAP MLA Chaitar Vasava Faces Charges for Assaulting Restaurant Owner
An AAP MLA, Chaitar Vasava, and 20 others have been charged with assaulting a restaurant owner in Gujarat. The police registered an FIR following an incident where Vasava allegedly verbally abused and thrashed the complainant over a bill dispute. No arrests have been made as of now.

In a recent development, police have registered a case against Chaitar Vasava, an MLA from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and 20 others for allegedly attacking a restaurant owner in Gujarat's Narmada district.
The FIR, based on a complaint, names Vasava, six identified, and about 15 unidentified individuals for the incident that took place in Dediapada on September 16. The incident reportedly involved verbal abuse and physical assault by the MLA and his associates.
The complainant, Shantilal Vasava, stated that he was attacked after he asked the MLA to settle a restaurant bill, which led to a confrontation. According to the FIR, the MLA and his group allegedly threatened the complainant and inflicted physical harm. Legal action has been initiated under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, but no arrests have been made yet.
