The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) conducted a raid at Gynoveda Femtech Pvt. Ltd in Thane's Bhiwandi area, seizing Ayurvedic drugs valued at Rs 6 lakh for breaching the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisement) Act, 1954, and its Rules of 1955.

The seizure forms part of a larger investigation to ensure adherence to advertising regulations. According to an official, the violations were serious enough to warrant immediate action.

In addition to the Rs 6 lakh seizure, the FDA has also prohibited the distribution of drugs amounting to Rs 3.62 crore due to improper labelling practices, emphasising the need for stringent oversight in drug distribution processes.
