Seven people lost their lives in a series of Russian shelling attacks across various regions of Ukraine, local governors reported.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, three employees of an agricultural enterprise in Huliaipole were killed by shell strikes, according to governor Ivan Fedorov on Telegram. Reuters has not been able to independently verify these reports.
A missile attack in the suburbs of Odesa, a Black Sea port city, resulted in the deaths of a married couple and injured a 65-year-old woman, stated regional governor Oleh Kiper. The couple, born in 1958 and 1962, were found during checks of buildings damaged earlier in the day, and the weapon used was allegedly a prohibited cluster warhead.
A 60-year-old man died from serious injuries in Kherson after shelling, said governor Oleksandr Prokudin. Additionally, in the Kharkiv region, Russian forces struck Pisky-Radkivski with the Tornado-S rocket system, causing the death of a 72-year-old woman and injuring two others.
