In a shocking turn of events, a 35-year-old gym owner was fatally shot by two bike-borne assailants in Delhi's upscale Greater Kailash area late last night, officials confirmed Friday.

The incident has prompted the Delhi Police Special Cell to detain six individuals, suspecting involvement from jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's associates. Sources also suggest possible links to northeast Delhi gangsters.

The victim, Nadir Shah, who ran the Sharx Gym, had prior criminal charges. The shooting occurred at approximately 10:44 pm as Shah conversed outside his gym. A social media post from an account linked to gangster Rohit Godara claimed responsibility, escalating fears of ongoing gang rivalries.
