Trinamool Congress leader Derek O'Brien has raised questions about the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) delaying the filing of a charge sheet in the RG Kar hospital rape-murder case.

Through a post on social media platform X, O'Brien demanded 'swift justice' for the victim and her family. He questioned the prolonged delay, noting that the Supreme Court is already monitoring the case.

'The CBI has the accused and all the evidence. Why is it not filing a chargesheet and starting the trial?' O'Brien asked. He emphasized the public's desire for swift justice and called for answers from the CBI.
