Odisha CM Urges New Government Recruits to Prioritize Public Grievances
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi addressed 476 newly recruited government officers, urging them to prioritize public grievance hearings and stressing the importance of their roles in the state's development. Majhi committed to filling 1.5 lakh government posts and generating 3.5 lakh private industry jobs over the next five years.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday urged 476 newly recruited government officers and employees to prioritize public grievance hearings, emphasising the government's role as a symbol of public trust. Speaking at the 'Nijukti Mela' programme, Majhi highlighted the importance of addressing grievances as a core duty.
The Chief Minister stressed that their determination and efficiency in bringing positive changes for the common man would validate their new roles. The gathering included 98 Group-A officers, 130 Group-B officers, and 248 Group-C employees. Majhi encouraged the recruits to be dedicated, punctual, truthful, and honest in their work, contributing significantly to Odisha's development.
Majhi also criticized the previous administration for failing to address vacant posts and self-employment, committing his government to fill 1.5 lakh government posts and create 3.5 lakh jobs in private industries over the next five years.
