Three Arrested for Ganja Consumption at Birthday Party Raid

Three individuals tested positive for ganja consumption during a police raid at a birthday party. The raid, conducted at 1 am, resulted in the apprehension of 18 people and the seizure of 40 grams of dry ganja and liquor bottles. Charges were filed under the NDPS Act.

Three individuals were booked for allegedly consuming ganja during a birthday party raid, Gachibowli police reported on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided an apartment around 1 am, recovering 40 grams of dry ganja and liquor bottles. Among the 18 people apprehended were 12 men and six women, including two film junior artistes.

Subsequent testing found three individuals positive for ganja consumption, resulting in charges under the NDPS Act. The remaining attendees were charged under BNS for unauthorized participation in the residential area party. Further investigation is ongoing.
