The Goa police detained a passenger on Tuesday for allegedly carrying bullets in his luggage while attempting to board a flight to Delhi at Manohar International Airport.

Anshul Ghai, a 26-year-old from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, was caught with six bullets during a security check. He was scheduled to fly on an Akasa Air flight when apprehended at 3:41 am, according to a senior police official.

Ghai failed to produce a valid arms licence or permission to carry the bullets on the aircraft, violating Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) guidelines. A case has been registered under the Arms Act.
