Muniyad Ali Khan, a significant figure in an international gold smuggling racket, has been extradited from the UAE to India in a meticulous operation by the CBI, NIA, and Interpol, officials confirmed.
Khan, who arrived at Jaipur airport, was apprehended by the NIA upon landing, making him the third fugitive in this case to be brought back to Indian soil.
Khan and his co-conspirators allegedly facilitated the illegal import of gold bars from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, into Jaipur. The operation has already seen the extradition of two other key players, Shokat Ali and Mohabbat Ali, from Saudi Arabia last year.
