Maid Found Dead in Samajwadi Party MLA's Residence

Police discovered the body of Nazia, an 18-year-old maid working for Samajwadi Party MLA Jahid Beg, hanging from a ceiling fan in his house. Having worked for Beg's family for several years, her body was sent for post-mortem and forensic investigation is ongoing. Beg represents the Bhadohi Sadar seat.

The body of Nazia, the 18-year-old maid of Samajwadi Party MLA Jahid Beg, was found hanging in her room at his residence in Malikana locality, police reported.

According to Circle Officer Ajay Kumar Chauhan, Nazia had been employed in Beg's house for many years and lived in a room on the upper level of the property. Upon discovering the door locked from the inside and no response from her, Beg's family informed the police.

The authorities broke into the room, retrieved the body, and sent it for post-mortem. A forensic team is actively investigating the scene, while the post-mortem will be conducted by two doctors with videographic documentation. Beg mentioned that Nazia had been residing in the store room for the last eight years.
