Senior RSS functionary Indresh Kumar on Sunday asserted that both man and cow lynchings must be eradicated to ensure peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths.

Speaking to reporters, Kumar reiterated the views of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat regarding caste census and underscored the need to combat the venom of casteism. He emphasized religious tolerance and condemned fanaticism.

In addressing cow vigilante-related lynchings, linked by some to the BJP's rise, Kumar called for an environment that respects diversity and sensitivities around cows. He also discussed a cultural program in Bihar promoting a riot and caste-discrimination-free society, culminating in a grand ceremony in Patna.
