A 27-year-old woman was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances at her residence in north Delhi's Wazirabad locality, officials reported on Thursday.
The local police received a call about the woman's body at 8.37 am. Upon arrival, they found Parul Tiwari's body on the ground floor, a police officer stated.
Though her body bore no external injury marks, a substance was observed coming out of her mouth. Parul leaves behind her husband and two daughters. The daughters were present at the scene, but her husband was not.
The crime and forensic science teams examined and photographed the location, and the body was moved to Sabji Mandi mortuary. Proceedings under Section 194 of the BNSS have begun. Statements from relatives are being collected, and the post-mortem report will guide further legal action.
